Maintenance Program Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Program Engineer will ensure the continued airworthiness, safety and reliability of Gulf Helicopters' fleet by developing, optimizing and controlling Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMPs). The role reports to the Technical Services Head within the CAMO department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise Aircraft Maintenance Programs in line with OEM recommendations, regulatory requirements and operational needs.
• Monitor and control the incorporation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other continued airworthiness requirements.
• Analyse maintenance and reliability data to identify trends, improve fleet performance and enhance maintenance effectiveness.
• Support technical investigations, evaluate incidents and component failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, OEMs, MRO providers and regulatory authorities on program matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Aviation Technical Services, CAMO, Engineering, Reliability or Maintenance Planning.
• Strong understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Programs, continuing airworthiness requirements and reliability programmes.
• Knowledge of QCAA, EASA, FAA and other applicable aviation regulations.
