Manager Corporate Communications

About the role

The Manager Corporate Communications will shape and deliver Qatar Airways’ corporate communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the airline’s business objectives. This role oversees all public‑relations activities, media relations, executive communications and the promotion of new destination launches, aiming to maximise positive earned media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual PR plan and budget to increase Qatar Airways’ visibility.
• Design communication strategies for assigned regions, divisions and stakeholder groups, generating earned media while managing media inquiries.
• Lead communications for new destination launches, creating messaging that enhances brand awareness and showcases the airline’s growth.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Communications leadership team to contribute to the overall corporate communications strategy.
• Support the development and maintenance of the Crisis Communications plan and ensure staff are trained.
• Supervise the production of public communications such as press releases, newsletters, video scripts and presentations.
• Coordinate press events, conferences and inaugural PR activities for new routes.
• Conduct daily media monitoring, report findings and provide feedback to senior management.
