Manager Security Technologies Services (Qatarization)

About the role

QNB Group, Qatar's first Qatari-owned commercial bank established in 1964, is hiring a Manager for Security Technologies Services. The incumbent provides first and second line support for information security solutions, maintains key technology solutions that protect the bank from cyber threats, and acts as the focal point for end-user escalations on security technology issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level support to key technical security solutions and troubleshoot security products installed on end-user devices
• Support operational processes, procedures and guidelines for service, problem, incident, change and configuration management
• Review IT and business requests for changes to security controls, such as firewall change reviews
• Maintain activities in line with Service Level Agreements with internal departments and build effective relationships with them
• Support the design and implementation of QNB's information security program and develop, implement and administer technical security standards and tools
• Assess the impact of new technologies on the information security profile and ensure audit issues and regulatory gaps are addressed promptly
• Create education and training programs for the team and advise operating units on security issues and vulnerabilities
• Comply with legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements (AML & CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, etc.) and act under the Three Lines of Defence framework
• Ensure high standards of data protection and confidentiality, and handle ad hoc duties requested by management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, computer engineering or a related subject
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank or large corporation in an information security engineering capacity
• Professional certification such as CISSP is mandatory
• Security engineering certifications in Microsoft operating systems (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) or Linux (e.g., RHCP) are mandatory
