Material Management Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Material Management Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and material handling operations. The role ensures timely availability of materials for operational needs while maintaining strict compliance with military facility procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and material management activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock movement details, labeling, tagging, and traceability.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation, and monitor stock levels for replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with military facility procedures, security rules, HSE standards, and safe housekeeping.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, reports, and audit records.
• Lead and assign daily tasks to warehouse staff, coordinating with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Identify material discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and provide inventory reports and material status updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse or material management.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a military facility.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems.
• Good understanding of safety, documentation, and audit requirements.
• Strong supervisory and coordination abilities.
