Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to ensure the safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation of our mechanical equipment and facility systems in a fast‑paced entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, machines and facility systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes and carry out corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and service components such as motors, bearings, belts, chains, gears and pumps.
• Support the maintenance of amusement rides, interactive attractions and other mechanical installations.
• Keep accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and parts documentation.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience as a Mechanical or Maintenance Technician, preferably in amusement parks or similar recreational facilities.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of motors, bearings, belts, chains, gears and pumps.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and mechanical measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and lockout/tagout safety practices.
