MEP Engineer – Electrical Background (Qatar)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to join a leading cooling‑solutions provider in Qatar. The role focuses on supervising, coordinating and maintaining MEP installations to ensure efficient building operations and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and ongoing maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Coordinate activities between electrical, HVAC and plumbing trades on site.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure all works comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot MEP‑related issues and support project execution.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in MEP or facility‑management projects, preferably within the GCC region.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Experience with MEP systems.
• Understanding of HVAC concepts.
