Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

About the role

This role develops and maintains Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions and customizations across finance, procurement, HR and reporting. The developer works on Phase 2 enhancements and reports technical progress to the ERP Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Business Central AL extensions, tables, pages, codeunits, event subscribers and validation logic.
• Customize Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and posting controls.
• Enhance bank reconciliation, financial reporting, approvals and finance workflows.
• Build Procurement processes for requisitions, purchase orders, vendor records and purchase invoices, including approval flows, vendor controls and reporting enhancements.
• Support employee master data, HR approvals, leave and attendance via extensions or integrations, and implement payroll-related integrations where applicable.
• Build and maintain RDLC / Word reports and other operational or financial reports.
• Develop and support Business Central APIs, web services and third-party integrations, including integration with Dynamics 365 CRM (field mapping, synchronization, validation, error resolution).
• Test, debug and resolve posting, workflow, performance and integration issues, and maintain technical documentation.
• Execute assigned Phase 2 enhancements and report technical progress to the ERP Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately 3-6 years of hands-on Business Central development experience.
• Mandatory prior hands-on experience integrating Dynamics 365 CRM with Business Central.
• Ability to work independently on technical changes, testing, documentation and production support.

Required skills

• Strong AL programming, extensions, event subscribers, debugging and RDLC / Word reporting.
• Dataverse, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, BC APIs / web services, data mapping and synchronization.
• Working knowledge of Finance and Procurement; HR extensions or HR/payroll integrations desirable.
