Munitions Operations Technician

About the role

The Munitions Operations Technician is responsible for munitions accountability, inventory actions, and operating the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS) in compliance with USAF and host nation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform munitions accountability, inventory, and historical record keeping per AFMAN 21-200, DAFMAN 21-201, and related technical data.
• Operate and maintain TICMS, report discrepancies, and assist personnel with training and use of the system.
• Conduct daily connectivity checks, warehouse inventories, and reconcile ADR files.
• Monitor shelf life, manage munitions shipments, and support entry-controller duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards, and report potential issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience with military munitions and munitions operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government clearance (US citizenship required).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain host‑nation license.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull at least 50 lb and work outdoors as needed.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Use of TICMS for munitions accountability and reporting.
