MYP Coordinator – International School

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an experienced MYP Coordinator to lead the implementation and development of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. The role ensures programme integrity, supports teacher excellence, and drives high standards of student learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and review the IB MYP in line with IB standards and practices.
• Manage IB authorisation, evaluation and self‑study processes, acting as the primary liaison with the IB organisation.
• Coach and develop MYP teachers in programme delivery, unit design and assessment.
• Oversee the Personal Project, service as action and ATL skill development across the MYP.
• Lead moderation and standardisation of MYP assessment across all subject groups.
• Coordinate eAssessment preparation and external moderation submissions.
• Deliver MYP‑focused staff CPD and ensure engagement with Nord Anglia University.
• Communicate MYP expectations, progress and outcomes to parents and the school community.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification with classroom experience in an IB MYP school.
• IB MYP workshop training at Category 1 or 2 level.
• In‑depth knowledge of MYP curriculum, assessment criteria, eAssessment and the Personal Project.
• Understanding of IB programme standards, practices and authorisation requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• International school experience, preferably in the Middle East (desirable).
