Newborn Nurse – Day Shift or Live-In

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, certified nurse to provide professional care for our newborn. The role can be arranged as a 10‑hour day shift or a full‑time live‑in position, depending on the candidate’s preference.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor newborn health: track growth milestones, sleep patterns, skin condition, and administer prescribed vitamins or medications.
• Manage feeding: schedule formula or breast‑milk feeds, sterilize bottles, use proper burping techniques, and record daily intake.
• Establish safe sleep routines and hygiene practices, including baths, umbilical cord care, and nail trimming.
• Provide developmental stimulation such as tummy time and sensory activities.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized environment for the baby’s room and belongings.
• Log daily details of feeding, sleep, and diaper changes via an app or journal.

Required profile

• Licensed/registered nurse with credentials in neonatal or pediatric nursing.
• Experience delivering direct newborn care in hospital or clinic settings.
• Strong clinical abilities in assessment, monitoring, feeding support, medication administration, and basic emergency response.
• Preferred experience in a neonatal intensive care unit or maternity ward and certification in neonatal resuscitation.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
