Onshore Emergency Coordinator

About the role

The Onshore Emergency Coordinator develops, implements and continuously improves emergency preparedness and response systems for on‑shore operations, working closely with management, operations staff and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans, procedures and Incident Command System (ICS) based systems.
• Coordinate response to major and complex emergency incidents.
• Provide expert advice to management and Incident Commanders.
• Plan and conduct emergency drills, exercises and training.
• Coordinate with government authorities, emergency services and external agencies.
• Assess emergency scenarios, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure emergency response equipment, systems and resources remain ready.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in oil & gas or other high‑risk industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision‑making and influencing skills.
