Operations Manager - Energy

About the role

The Energy Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day oil and gas operations across the company’s energy assets in Syria. The role ensures safe, efficient and reliable production while meeting HSE, regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily oil and gas operations across production facilities, wells and processing units, coordinating with engineering, technical and field teams.
• Monitor production performance, equipment efficiency and operational KPIs, identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and drive asset‑integrity and inspection activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulations and company policies, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Support operational planning and execution, coordinating manpower, equipment and resources to meet production targets.
• Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring safety, quality and contractual compliance.
• Track operational costs, contribute to budget preparation and implement efficiency measures.
• Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in oil and gas operations, production or processing facilities.
• Proven experience managing operational teams, contractors and technical staff.
• Strong background in operational planning, maintenance coordination and asset integrity.
