Operations Specialist – Project Support (OESS)

About the role

The Operations Specialist will facilitate and coordinate Project Support Operations within OESS, PMT and Offshore Operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of offshore brownfield project construction, commissioning and start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operations input for brownfield design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL studies, constructability and model reviews to meet operability, maintainability, reliability and integrity requirements.
• Coordinate risk screening, formal risk assessments and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, managing e‑MOC/Interface Agreements and updating O&M procedures.
• Supervise offshore project shutdown reviews, Cold Eye Reviews and ensure alignment with the Shutdown Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Required skills

• Design Review, Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies.
• Distributed Control System (DCS) modifications, Instrumentation, Controls and Safety Systems (ICSS) Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), alarm rationalisation.
