About the role

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with at least four years of experience to manage end‑to‑end database lifecycles. The role focuses on MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases running on Linux, ensuring high availability, performance, security and cloud integration.

Key responsibilities

• Administer production, staging and development databases (MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL) throughout their lifecycle.
• Design, implement and maintain disaster‑recovery, clustering and replication solutions in Linux environments.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations and scaling activities to maximise uptime.
• Apply security patches, PSU/CPU updates and configuration fixes proactively.
• Monitor, debug and optimise database performance, supporting technical and functional teams.
• Participate in ITIL Incident, Change and Release Management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on DBA experience.
• Strong expertise with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL on Linux.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
• Experience with complex storage and cluster configurations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
