Oracle Developer

About the role

The Oracle Developer will join Family Food Centre’s IT team in Doha to design, develop, and maintain Oracle‑based applications that support core retail and back‑office operations. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on translating business requirements into robust, scalable database solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle database designs.
• Create, optimize, and maintain database objects, schemas, and data models.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms for operational and management reporting.
• Design and implement ETL processes to integrate, cleanse, and migrate data from multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, apply fixes, and deliver enhancements.
• Conduct unit and integration testing and produce technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure secure and scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Strong database design and data‑modeling skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms.
• Practical experience building ETL pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail or high‑volume transaction environments is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication in English; additional regional languages are advantageous.
