Oracle WebCenter System Administrator – Banking Sector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle WebCenter System Administrator to manage and optimise enterprise WebCenter environments for a leading banking institution in Doha. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of mission‑critical banking applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Oracle WebCenter across production and non‑production environments.
• Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management of WebCenter components.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability; resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and Apache Web Server configurations.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Implement security hardening, compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support high‑availability architectures, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery environments, participate in DR drills, and keep documentation up to date.
• Support OpenShift and container‑based deployments.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in Oracle WebCenter administration.
• Proven background in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Apache Web Server, and middleware administration.
• Hands‑on experience with performance tuning, security hardening, and disaster‑recovery processes.
