About the role
The Organizational Development & Workforce Specialist will lead OD initiatives, maintain job and competency frameworks, and ensure effective manpower planning to support Qatar Fabrication Company’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, review and update organization structures, job descriptions and competency matrices in partnership with all divisions.
- Advise senior management on change management and organizational development based on benchmarking with leading oil‑and‑gas shipping firms.
- Coordinate with Learning & Development to align competency frameworks with performance management systems.
- Analyse workforce needs, develop manpower forecasts and budgets, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Provide guidance to departments on manpower planning, approve changes to approved plans, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Collaborate with Finance to integrate manpower budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) standards in all activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in organizational development, job design, and workforce planning within a large industrial or oil‑and‑gas environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to benchmark and present data‑driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities to work across multiple divisions.
- Knowledge of HR policies, budgeting processes and performance management systems.
