OT Cybersecurity Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior Cybersecurity Specialist with deep expertise in Operational Technology (OT) security for electric utility environments, especially Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS). The role will drive assessments, architecture design, and stakeholder engagement across IT and OT domains, focusing on the security implications of network‑connected control rooms, remote access, and Smart Grid integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings to evaluate current cybersecurity posture across IT and OT.
• Identify additional security measures required for network‑connected control rooms, remote information access, and content sharing.
• Perform current‑state assessments and gap analyses for IT/OT systems, cybersecurity structures, and Data/AI/ML applications in power‑grid environments.
• Design target OT architecture and its integration with IT/AMI systems via enterprise bus or other integration layers.
• Develop and apply cybersecurity standards for OT projects, contributing to internationally accredited standards such as IEC 62443.
• Address renewable‑energy integration questions when relevant, without impacting project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity for ADMS in utilities.
• Proven experience in Smart Grid and renewable‑energy integration projects.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and authoring IEC 62443‑based security standards.
