Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network is looking for energetic, creative and enthusiastic Personal Trainers to join its fitness centre at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha. The role involves delivering personal training sessions, maintaining a client base and providing a high level of personalised attention to members.

Key responsibilities

• Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching and personal training sessions
• Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to company standards
• Provide a high level of personalised attention to members
• Maintain knowledge of, and participate in, health club and recreation services, programmes and products
• Update and maintain the Personal Training Records
• Instruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques, including operating equipment dynamically
• Provide excellent customer service to current and potential members
• Adjust and operate all fitness equipment
• Attend regular and predictable attendance, personal training meetings and other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Nationally recognised Personal Training certification (preferred)
• CPR/AED certification
• 1-3 years of previous personal training experience (preferred)
• Customer-related experience is an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to work cohesively as part of a team
