Planning Engineer – Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team on major Oil & Gas EPC projects in Qatar. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 or MS Project schedules for EPC projects.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress and identify schedule risks.
• Prepare progress reports and look‑ahead plans for project managers and clients.
• Analyze schedule performance and propose recovery actions when needed.
• Support planning meetings, client reviews and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of planning experience on Oil & Gas EPC projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6.
• Familiarity with MS Project (advantageous).
