Plant Operator & QA Technician – Doha, Qatar

About the role

Al Dana Switchgear is seeking skilled professionals for two critical positions in its Transformer Manufacturing Division in Doha: a Plant Operator responsible for vacuum drying and oil filtration processes, and a QA Technician who will perform comprehensive transformer testing.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor vacuum drying plants and oil filtration plants.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and maintain operational logs.
• Perform transformer testing including IR, Ratio, Polarity, Vector Group, Winding Resistance, and Loss tests.
• Maintain test records, support QA engineers during FAT, and ensure proper calibration of test equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Plant Operator) or Electrical Engineering (QA Technician).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing or testing.
• Hands‑on experience with vacuum drying, oil filtration systems, and transformer testing procedures.
