Plumber – Hotel Engineering (Luxury Facility)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join the engineering team of a luxury hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all plumbing systems across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities, ensuring uninterrupted service and high hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on domestic water supply, hot and cold water distribution, drainage, sewage, stormwater, irrigation and water treatment networks.
• Inspect, repair and replace water lines, valves, fittings, pipes, sanitary fixtures and related equipment.
• Maintain wash basins, toilets, urinals, showers, mixers, faucets, flush valves and other plumbing accessories.
• Service water heaters, calorifiers, circulation and booster pumps, pressure vessels, expansion tanks and related treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot leaks, low pressure, blockages, pipe failures and equipment malfunctions.
• Support emergency repairs, on‑call duties and coordinate with housekeeping, front office and external contractors.
• Carry out daily inspections, record work orders, logbooks and report abnormalities to the Chief Engineer.
• Promote water‑conservation initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, LOTO and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• ITI, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or related trade.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a plumber in a luxury hotel, resort or large commercial facility.
• Valid trade certification where applicable.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
