Pool Lifeguard (2 male & 2 female positions)

About the role

KBR is recruiting four pool lifeguards (two male and two female) to ensure the safety and well‑being of club members at a Qatar site. The role involves monitoring swimmers, enforcing pool rules, and responding quickly to emergencies in line with QAFCO safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor pool users and enforce safety regulations.
• Supervise children’s use of the pool and ensure compliance with rules.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to keep the pool area, toilets, and deck sanitized.
• Communicate unsafe behaviour to swimmers and take corrective action.
• Provide first aid, perform rescues, and administer CPR when needed.
• Assist with crowd control and report any incidents to the QAFCO representative.
• Verify that vacuum suction systems are closed for safety on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Secondary school certificate and fluency in English.
• Minimum three years of lifeguard experience in an international hotel, recreational club, or hospitality setting.
• Certified in swimming/emergency rescue, first‑aid, CPR, and pool/beach lifeguard awareness training.
