Process Safety Engineering Consultant – Qatar

About the role

As a Process Safety Engineering Consultant in AcuTech’s Qatar team, you will work directly with leading oil, gas and chemical companies on projects that cover the full spectrum of process safety and risk management. You will apply engineering expertise to solve complex safety challenges while pursuing leadership and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Process Safety Management (PSM) services, including Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies and Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA).
• Lead or support cross‑functional teams on client projects across Qatar, KSA and the GCC.
• Manage client relationships, develop business proposals and present technical findings.
• Provide engineering design and facility‑siting advice for hazardous material handling.
• Handle multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection or Safety Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of experience for Consultant level or 10‑15 years for Senior Consultant level in process safety, engineering design or related consulting.
• Proven ability to work independently, organise work and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in client‑facing roles and business development is preferred.
