Production Engineer – Aluminum & Facade Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to lead our aluminum workshop. You will oversee the manufacturing of a wide range of architectural aluminum and glazing products, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily workshop production activities.
• Review shop and fabrication drawings before production.
• Supervise cutting, machining, fabrication, assembly, glazing and final inspections.
• Coordinate with Technical Design, Procurement and Installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor production progress, manpower, material utilization and inventory.
• Improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise manufacturing processes.
• Maintain workshop machinery and equipment.
• Enforce quality, health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Lead, train and evaluate workshop personnel.
• Prepare production reports and resolve production‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in aluminum and façade fabrication, with at least 3 years in a production‑engineer or similar leadership role.
• Extensive experience with aluminium windows, doors, curtain walls, façade systems, pergolas, skylights and glazing systems.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium profile systems, fabrication techniques and architectural hardware.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural, shop and fabrication drawings.
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, quality control, workshop management and manpower supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem‑solving skills.
