Program Management Office Lead (PMO Specialist)

About the role

The Program Management Office (PMO) Lead / Specialist bridges organisational strategy and project execution, ensuring construction programmes are delivered on time, within scope, budget and quality standards. This role establishes PMO frameworks, provides portfolio visibility and supports executive decision‑making across multiple civil, MEP, infrastructure and fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and govern PMO policies, standards and governance across the organisation.
• Align programmes and projects with strategic objectives and client commitments, maintaining roadmaps and master schedules.
• Provide senior leadership and C‑level executives with dashboards, performance analytics and risk insights.
• Oversee multiple construction programmes, monitoring scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk.
• Coordinate inter‑project dependencies, optimise resources and report KPIs, cash flow and contractual deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning and project controls to ensure feasibility, constructability and timeline adherence.
• Utilise project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project to track progress and generate reports.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly and executive‑level reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees and programme review sessions.
• Manage risk, issue escalation and change control processes, recommending mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple construction programmes across civil, MEP, infrastructure or fit‑out disciplines.
• Ability to translate technical project updates into business and commercial implications for senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to provide performance insights and risk assessments to executive leadership.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
