Program Manager EPMO

About the role

The Program Manager EPMO will lead and support strategic and operational programs across the Qatar Airways Group. Working closely with divisional PMO teams, the role ensures governance, compliance, and execution discipline while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the EPMO sprint cycles for the assigned portfolio, tracking and refining all strategic and operational streams.
• Ensure universal adoption of the EPMO tool across functions and its integration with the broader development lifecycle.
• Develop program roadmaps with clear milestones, ownership, KPIs/OKRs, and risk‑management protocols.
• Implement a continuous‑improvement process for program‑management practices.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Transformation, and Process Excellence teams to integrate initiatives and optimise processes.
• Perform additional department duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise program management, project governance, and leadership reporting within medium‑large multinational organisations.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale programs with significant scope.
• Strong understanding of financial principles related to project/program budgeting.
• Extensive stakeholder‑management experience in complex, multicultural environments.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Managerial abilities including delegation, direction setting, mentoring, coaching, and team building.
