Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) – Offshore

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer specialized in Electrical & Instrumentation to lead offshore sewage treatment plant and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with Qatari regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all E&I engineering activities for STP and wastewater projects, including design review and site supervision.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, budgets, and resources.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring quality and safety.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Produce progress reports for management and clients.
• Support troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in E&I works for STP and wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation systems, MCCs and control panels.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN and project management tools.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and Qatari regulations.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and communication abilities.
