Psychiatrist – Full-time/Part-time

About the role

SEED is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join its on‑site multidisciplinary wellness team in Doha, Qatar. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and focuses on delivering comprehensive outpatient mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with other wellness practitioners and participate in case conferences.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to community education and preventive mental‑health initiatives.
• Help refine SEED’s holistic care protocols in line with best practices and regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Psychiatry and board certification or equivalent.
• Current medical license (or eligibility) to practice psychiatry in Qatar.
• Experience delivering psychiatric care to diverse populations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Commitment to holistic, patient‑centered care and cultural sensitivity.
