Purchasing Driver

About the role

The Purchasing Driver supports the hotel’s procurement function by transporting purchased goods from suppliers to the hotel and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries. This role is essential for maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting the 5‑star service standards of Radisson Hotel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver purchased materials safely, accurately, and on time, coordinating with suppliers and the purchasing department.
• Inspect consignments, verify quantities against purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes, and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain proper documentation for all collections and deliveries, and keep the vehicle clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
• Assist the Purchasing Department with urgent purchases, supplier collections, and routine purchasing activities.
• Ensure compliance with hotel, traffic, health & safety, and company policies.

Required profile

• Valid Qatar driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Purchasing Driver, Procurement Driver, Delivery Driver, or similar role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel.
• Good knowledge of Doha roads, locations, suppliers, markets, and industrial areas.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with suppliers and team members.
• Reliability, punctuality, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Good numeracy skills for checking quantities, invoices, delivery notes and purchase documents.
• Ability to safely handle, transport and store purchased materials to prevent damage.
