QA/QC Inspector – Railway Maintenance & Automation Panels

About the role

The QA/QC Inspector will ensure that railway maintenance activities and automation panel assemblies meet all approved procedures, client specifications, and international standards. The role involves performing inspections, witnessing functional testing, reviewing documentation, and reporting any quality issues to support safe and reliable project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during preventive, corrective, and emergency railway maintenance tasks.
• Verify work orders, asset identification, equipment tags and maintenance scope before inspection.
• Witness functional testing, equipment restoration and hand‑over activities, recording as‑found conditions, measurements and photographs.
• Inspect automation control panel assemblies, checking materials, wiring, terminations, labeling, earthing and workmanship against drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality plans, method statements and technical specifications prior to field work.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports, checklists, punch lists and raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
• Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, ISO 9001:2015, IEC standards and client specifications.
• Participate in internal audits, surveillance inspections and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in railway maintenance quality inspection or industrial automation panel assembly.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and relevant IEC standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance and client teams.

• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
