Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer will ensure that all water projects meet KAHRAMAA standards and international quality requirements. You will work closely with project teams to develop, implement, and monitor quality plans throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with relevant departments to establish and apply quality guidelines according to KAHRAMAA standards.
• Develop inspection, testing, and evaluation methods based on engineering concepts and standards.
• Prepare quality control reports, close out non‑conformances (NCR) and support management review.
• Monitor corrective actions from the KAHRAMAA Line Department and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct technical evaluations of new tenders and quality control audits on site.
• Prepare project‑specific Quality Plans, Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Review progress reports (daily to annual) to assess quality control activities against schedule.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ISMS and risk‑management policies and KAHRAMAA health‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on KAHRAMAA water projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, quality management systems and KAHRAMAA standards.
• Experience preparing and implementing Project Quality Plans, Method Statements and ITPs.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards, ISMS requirements and risk‑management procedures.
• Excellent reporting, documentation and communication skills.
