Quality Engineer (Qatari National)

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that KONE’s products and processes meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role focuses on data‑driven improvement, inspections, testing, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise quality performance improvements based on data analysis.
• Apply continuous‑improvement methodologies to investigate non‑conformances, determine root causes and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Create and analyse large data sets from multiple platforms to identify trends.
• Support the Quality Manager with target setting and audit preparation.
• Perform in‑process and product inspections, execute tests, sampling methods and other validation procedures.
• Maintain and update quality records in line with established procedures.
• Share quality methodology knowledge and tools with the organisation.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role.
• Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, diligent and organised self‑starter.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Qatari national (due to local labour regulations).
