Quality Lead (DEHE Vessel)

About the role

The Quality Lead for the DEHE Vessel will drive the implementation of the project quality management programme and ensure the contractor’s quality system is effectively applied during jacket, topside and pipeline installation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Plan and oversee the contractor’s quality management system at the fabrication yard.
• Conduct construction surveillance, review and approve EPC contractors’ inspection & test plans, and manage welding quality control.
• Lead regular meetings with contractors and subcontractors to monitor progress and resolve quality issues.
• Manage inspection resources through approved Site Inspection Services agencies.
• Deliver flawless quality and welding training programmes in collaboration with the contractor.
• Perform site walk‑throughs to identify quality and safety improvements and ensure inspection records are maintained for hand‑over.
• Implement deficiency and NCR management processes to track, investigate and resolve non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering.
• At least 8 years of offshore oil & gas experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• Experience with installation of offshore structures and pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, specifications, industry standards and relevant tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
