Reservations Agent Intern

About the role

Alwadi Hotel Doha, the first MGallery boutique hotel in Msheireb Downtown Doha, is looking for a Reservations Agent Intern. The intern helps create meaningful guest experiences from the first contact, handling reservations and inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in handling room reservations, inquiries and booking requests professionally and efficiently.
• Respond to guest calls, emails and reservation inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide information on room types, rates, facilities and services.
• Help enter, update and maintain accurate booking records.
• Support booking confirmations, modifications, cancellations and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales and other departments for a smooth guest experience.
• Support daily reservation reports and follow up on pending bookings.
• Promote hotel facilities, room upgrades, packages and additional services where appropriate.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality, and follow hotel policies and service standards.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in reservations, front office or guest services is an asset.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Required skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations and reservation procedures.
• Good computer skills and willingness to learn hotel reservation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and teamwork.
