About the role
The Retail Team Leader is responsible for driving store profitability and operational excellence. You will lead, train, and schedule the retail team while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to visual merchandising, inventory, and security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Delegate daily tasks, conduct product and service training, and manage staff performance.
- Create staff schedules that align with operational demands.
- Communicate sales targets, motivate the team, and achieve or exceed goals.
- Deliver outstanding customer service on the shop floor and at the register, handling inquiries and escalations professionally.
- Monitor shelf stock, maintain inventory levels, and ensure accurate pricing and promotional merchandising.
- Uphold visual, quality, health & safety, and store security standards.
- Enforce payment, exchange, and security policies, maintain strict cash control, and proactively prevent theft.
Required profile
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
- Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer software.
- Proficiency with computer hardware.
- Experience using inventory management systems.
