Rollout Indoor Senior Specialist (IBS/DAS)

About the role

This role covers end-to-end deployment of indoor IBS/repeater solutions, including 2G/3G/4G and 5G, with a 50-50 split between office and field work. It combines hands-on technical support with project delivery, vendor coordination and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical issues and clarifications for IBS projects, perform design audits, site acceptance checks against standards and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Provide on-site technical expertise during surveys, design, deployment, integration, commissioning, testing and optimisation of distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells.
• Manage subcontractors, coordinate with customers and monitor and deliver projects end to end.
• Carry out acceptance visits and collect post-deployment data to ensure compliance with Vodafone and building management requirements.
• Manage inventory in the technology warehouse and forecast usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics or Telecom, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in IBS/DAS deployment projects.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of project management and MS Office tools.
• Good understanding of DAS products such as antennas, couplers, combiners, telecom room preparation, rectifiers and batteries.
• Good understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies.
• Experience with active and passive solutions from manufacturers such as Commscope, Cobham and Huawei.
