Rooms Technician

About the role

The Rooms Technician ensures that all guest rooms and related facilities operate at the highest standards of comfort and safety. Working within the engineering team of The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, you will be responsible for the upkeep of mechanical systems that directly affect room environments.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control, and refrigeration equipment in guest rooms and suites.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor system parameters and respond to any deviations or guest‑reported issues promptly.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to support overall hotel operations.

Required profile

• Technical background in building services or related engineering field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced luxury hotel environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
