Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead inspection, installation, preservation, testing and quality monitoring of rotating equipment on oil & gas and petrochemical projects. The role involves close collaboration with EPC contractors, subcontractors and discipline engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve ITPs, method statements, work instructions and other quality documents.
• Monitor delivery, storage, preservation, installation and inspection activities for rotating equipment.
• Conduct actual, witness and surveillance inspections in line with approved ITPs.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors and discipline engineers.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and raise NCRs for any quality deficiencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years experience on large international onshore oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment inspection, installation, storage, preservation, testing and QA/QC procedures.
• Good understanding of international codes, standards, drawings, specifications and ISO quality requirements.
• Fluent English and proficient in MS Office.
