Scaffolding Inspector – LPG Plant (Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Inspector to join a leading LPG bottling plant in Qatar. The role involves daily safety inspections of all erected scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and maintaining accurate inspection records.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections of scaffolding before use and apply appropriate tagging (Green/Red/Yellow).
• Ensure all scaffolding work complies with Qatar Energy (QE), Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) and international standards such as BS EN 12811-1, TG20, SG4.
• Maintain up‑to‑date scaffolding inspection registers and daily reports for safety audits.
• Identify structural defects, overloading, or environmental hazards and enforce immediate corrective actions or dismantling.
• Coordinate with Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) systems and support hazard identification processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of scaffolding inspection experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or LPG environments.
• Valid third‑party certification for scaffold inspection (e.g., CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspector, CITB, or equivalent TUV certification).
• Prior experience on RLIC or Qatar Energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems and hazard identification.
• Must be residing in Qatar with a valid QID and available to join immediately.

Required skills

• CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspector certification
• CITB or equivalent TUV scaffold inspection certification
• Familiarity with BS EN 12811-1, TG20, SG4 standards
• Proficiency with Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) procedures
