School HR Manager

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a School HR Manager to lead people management at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. Working closely with the Principal and Regional HR Director, you will ensure a high‑quality HR service that supports both strategic and operational priorities and fosters an engaged, high‑performing school culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding and visa processes to ensure timely, compliant staffing across all roles.
• Act as a trusted partner to school leadership on employee relations, performance management and engagement.
• Oversee HR operations including payroll inputs, contract renewals and personnel data management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Drive employee wellbeing, diversity and professional development initiatives.
• Support strategic workforce planning and contribute to regional HR projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (CIPD qualification desirable).
• 5‑7 years of experience in an HR generalist or management role, preferably within a school or service‑led environment.
• Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE regulations and immigration procedures.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced international setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and employment regulations.
• Experience with visa and immigration processes.
