Seasonal Ambulatory Veterinarian – Equine Reproduction

About the role

EVMC is seeking a highly motivated veterinarian to join its Reproduction Department on a seasonal contract. The role involves providing ambulatory equine reproductive services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary referral team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory reproductive services to clients and refer cases to the hospital as needed.
• Perform reproductive evaluations, breeding management, pregnancy diagnosis, twin reduction, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, and semen collection, evaluation, processing, and cryopreservation.
• Supervise and mentor interns, veterinary nurses, assistants and grooms.
• Participate in emergency and after‑hours duties, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Veterinary degree (DVM, BVSc or equivalent) eligible for licensing in Qatar.
• Demonstrated experience in equine reproduction and strong practical skills in reproductive ultrasonography.
• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork abilities.
• International driving licence.
