Secondary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join its growing faculty. You will deliver a curriculum based on the UK National Curriculum and prepare students for IGCSE/AS‑A level examinations while supporting their overall numeracy and English language development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for secondary students.
• Develop schemes of work and assessment tools aligned with the UK curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse linguistic and academic needs of an international student body.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
• Engage with parents and the wider Nord Anglia community to promote student achievement.

Required profile

• University degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification obtained through a face‑to‑face programme.
• Considerable experience teaching secondary mathematics and knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa requirements, including possession of the required academic credentials.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to receive feedback and embrace change.
