About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting, financial reporting and payroll functions in Doha. The role involves managing month‑end and year‑end processes, budgeting and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Process payroll and WPS salary transfers.
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
- Monitor project costs, expenses and profitability.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, WPS, taxation, budgeting, audit and IFRS.
- Experience in real‑estate, construction or trading is a plus.
- Highly accurate, trustworthy and detail‑oriented.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- ERP/accounting systems.
- IFRS reporting.
