Senior Accountant – Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Qatar. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, preparing accurate financial statements, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and support statutory audits.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash‑flow activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CA (advantageous).
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Current residency in Qatar or transferable residency.
