Senior Arbitration & Disputes Associate

About the role

Al Sulaiti Law Firm is seeking a highly driven Senior Arbitration and Disputes Associate to strengthen its Arbitration practice. The successful candidate will manage complex commercial and investment arbitration matters across the MENA region, providing strategic advice and advocacy from case inception to enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Handle arbitration cases from initial assessment through to final award and enforcement.
• Draft and review pleadings, memorials, written submissions, arbitration clauses and related documents.
• Develop case strategy, conduct legal analysis and plan dispute resolution approaches.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, including oral submissions and witness examination.
• Advise clients on multi‑jurisdictional commercial and investment arbitration issues.
• Support arbitration‑related court proceedings, such as annulment actions and jurisdictional challenges.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and practical advice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent legal qualification.
• Valid legal qualification and admission to practice.
• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience with a focus on arbitration.
• Full fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to manage arbitration cases independently.
• Solid knowledge of arbitration laws and frameworks in Egypt, Qatar and the wider MENA region.
