Senior Associate / Vice President – Infrastructure Private Equity

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join the infrastructure team of a Doha‑based global institutional investor. The role will focus on sourcing, executing and managing core‑plus infrastructure investments across multiple sub‑sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of infrastructure transactions, from screening and complex financial modelling to documentation and closing.
• Support the Head of Infrastructure in evaluating a high volume of inbound opportunities, ensuring rapid yet rigorous risk‑adjusted return analysis.
• Structure both minority and control positions, targeting mid‑teen internal rates of return.
• Maintain active portfolio monitoring, including board participation and strategic oversight to align performance with the firm’s yield‑focused mandate.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience, preferably within a reputable infrastructure private‑equity fund.
• Proven ability to lead valuation workstreams and strong commercial understanding of various infrastructure sub‑segments.
• Fluency in English; an additional European language is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Doha and thrive in a lean, self‑starter environment.
• Comfort interacting directly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
