Senior Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Business Analyst to own end‑to‑end business analysis and delivery follow‑up. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering, ensuring that product squads stay aligned and that market insights shape every new feature.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, non‑functional requirements and success metrics.
• Map current‑state and future‑state customer journeys across the full product flow (browse, item creation, payment, moderation, publish).
• Maintain a living product backlog, prioritized with Product, and author functional specifications for designers and engineers.
• Run daily stand‑ups for assigned engineering squads, track progress in Azure DevOps or Jira, and surface blockers quickly.
• Provide a single‑page dashboard of sprint progress for leadership.
• Drive sprint retrospectives and ensure action items are owned.
• Produce competitor and market benchmark deliverables for every new or enhanced feature, including screenshots, flow recordings, strengths/weaknesses and clear recommendations.
• Conduct periodic competitor sweeps on pricing, monetisation models and new feature releases.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product BA in software product companies.
• Excellent written English; ability to produce clear PRDs and functional specs.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps or Jira at a power‑user level.
• Comfortable building quick prototypes on Replit and familiar with Replit Agent/AI features.
• Ability to read API specifications and database schemas and discuss data flows with engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering competitive analyses (provide 2–3 examples).
• Strong stakeholder management across both technical and non‑technical audiences.
