Senior Construction Manager – Major Building Project in Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead all on‑site activities for a large‑scale building project in Qatar. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities from mobilization to handover.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, work sequences and execution plans aligned with the project programme.
• Manage site teams, including Construction Managers, Engineers, Foremen and field staff.
• Direct subcontractors, ensuring compliance with shop drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and apply corrective actions to recover delays.
• Ensure efficient use of manpower, equipment and materials.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly coordination meetings and produce project reports.
• Promote the highest standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 18‑20 years of experience in building construction, with at least 12 years in a senior site leadership role for a leading main contractor.
• Proven track record delivering large residential, commercial, mixed‑use or high‑rise projects, preferably exceeding QAR 500 million.
• Previous experience working in Qatar or the GCC is mandatory.
