Senior Correspondent Banking and Control Officer

About the role

The Senior Correspondent Banking and Control Officer will lead the administration and operations of the Correspondent Banking & Control unit, ensuring efficient service delivery to foreign clients. This role oversees onboarding of Nostro/Vostro, RMA and other banking relationships, while managing AML and KYC compliance across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end onboarding of Nostro/Vostro, RMA, NBFI and brokerage relationships.
• Conduct AML annual due‑diligence and KYC reviews for all established relationships.
• Respond to incoming KYC queries on behalf of Doha Bank, Doha Finance Limited and DB Securities Limited.
• Establish and amend Master Risk Participation Agreements (MRPA) with global counterparts.
• Coordinate vendor payments, subscription renewals and rebate reporting for IBG services.
• Liaise with Nostro providers to maximize revenue share and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Prepare Wolfsberg CBDDQ reports and support internal audit, compliance and QCB audit queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, specifically in correspondent and international banking.
• Strong understanding of service delivery, operational risk management and financial institution transactions.
